We value diversity, curiosity, and enthusiasm above all else. If you are passionate about the paranormal, excited to meet new people, and ready to help make magic happen, we want to hear from you!

 

Volunteer Roles Available

 

There’s a place for every talent at GoblinCon. Here are just some of the roles we’re looking to fill:

• Registration & Welcome Crew: Greet guests with a smile, answer questions, and help everyone feel at home from the moment they arrive.

• Exhibit & Vendor Support: Assist presenters, artists, and merchandise vendors with setup, operations, and logistics.

• Workshop & Panel Assistants: Help manage the flow of presentations, distribute materials, and support speakers as needed.

• Technical Support: Provide assistance with audio/visual equipment, lighting, and presentation technology.

• Social Media Squad: Capture the excitement of GoblinCon for the world to see! Snap photos, shoot videos, and help live-tweet key moments.

• Security & Safety: Help ensure the event is safe, accessible, and enjoyable for everyone.

• Hospitality & Green Room: Assist guest speakers and VIPs, manage refreshments, and maintain a welcoming backstage environment.

• General Event Support: Be ready to jump in and lend a hand wherever you’re needed—flexibility and a positive attitude are key!

How to Apply

 

Ready to be part of the GoblinCon adventure? Here’s how to throw your hat into the ring:

• Fill out our online volunteer application form at the bottom of this page.

• Select your preferred volunteer roles and shift availability. We’ll do our best to match you to your top choices.

• Submit your application before the deadline: October 1st, 2025.

• Selected volunteers will be contacted via email in October 2025 for a brief virtual info session and training and to fill out the remainder of the required paperwork.

Do I need experience to volunteer?

No experience is required! We provide orientation and training for all volunteers. All you need is an open mind and a positive attitude.

 

What about accommodations or travel?

While volunteers are responsible for their own travel and lodging, we’ll share discounted hotel rates and shuttle information to make your stay more enjoyable.

 

Can I still attend GoblinCon as a fan?

Absolutely! When you’re not on shift, you’re free to explore the expo, attend panels, and meet your favorite speakers and vendors.

 

Is there an age requirement?

Volunteers must be 18 years or older by the start of the convention.
